Throughout life you keep searching.

Searching for career, searching for money/wealth, searching for success, searching for identity, searching for love, searching for happiness, searching for peace, searching for GOD.

You go on searching.

You may find some of these but still the searching remains.

You still keep searching and never find what it is that you are truly searching for.

The reality is you are searching for YOURSELF - not the self you know as the body, not the self you know as the mind but the SELF which is beyond the mind and body. That is the only real and true search. And this search is not outside - it is within.

And still you may never find this SELF. This SELF is there with you all the time but you never find this SELF.

Because the very nature of searching assumes that something is lost and hence you have to search. But you cannot find something that is not lost to begin with. You can only discover it.

The searching has to stop so that you can discover that which is already there within you.

And yet, this is the very cycle of life - you search outside, then you search inside and then one day hopefully the search stops and you discover that, which is already there.
