Annepaul Vemagiri, PCC, Trainer, L&OD, Hospitality, Maldives
Hello everyone, my name is AnnePaul Vemagiri, and today I can proudly say that I am a PCC—Professional Certified Coach—accredited by the ICF. And this is because of Anil Dagia. Who is Anil Dagia to me? He is my mentor, my guide, my coach, a friend, and I call him an entire institute in himself.
Learning from Anil Dagia has been a six-year journey, and it has always been a journey of growth. Today, if I am recognized as a professional trainer, it is because of the teachings I have received from Anil. I remember one of his favorite phrases: “Not my monkey, not my back.” That alone offers immense learning—it teaches you how important it is to be lighter.
In your journey of learning, if you can be lighter, if you can let go—not just of someone else’s monkey but even your own—you begin to feel what I feel about myself today. I feel so much lighter, and I look forward to even more learning.
One more important lesson I learned from Anil’s sessions is the importance of unlearning. Unlearning is another way of lightening yourself so you can flow in the moment and be in the power of now.
Thank you, Anil. Thank you so much for all your teachings, your trainings, and all the times you have guided me through my ups and downs. I am now looking forward to the next step—MCC—and I know you are still holding my hand as I move toward this next vision.
Thank you so much.
